It's the look every bride and groom wants: a beautifully lit room. Good lighting adds magic to any plain space — and lighting is something I have a genuine passion for.

There are two signature looks. A white booth with matching podiums gives a soft, elegant finish that suits weddings and daytime rooms. A black twinkle set-up gives a sharper, club-style look for evening parties and black-tie nights. Either way, the result is a room that looks designed rather than hired.

Up-lighters play a key part in that. Up to twelve battery units placed around the room, colour-matched to your styling or company branding, will lift every single photograph taken that evening — it's the cheapest change with the biggest effect.

The rest of the rig is K10 washes and 280 beam moving heads, all controlled from an Avo Titan console, programmed to the mood of each part of the night rather than left flashing on a default setting. Lasers are available on request, controlled by Pangolin — an optional extra, subject to set-up time. A black LED star cloth backdrop behind the booth is also an optional extra subject to set-up time, turning your focal point into a wall of stars rather than the venue fire door.
